E-Z Bobs are a wonderful tatting tool I got while at the teaching at the Shuttlebirds Workshop in 2005. They gave them away as part of the gift bags. Offered in different sizes to knitters, this small one measures 1 7/8" in diameter and is ideal for use with tatting, you can even use it as a shuttle. Use them to wind off threads, split embroidery floss and other threads. Wind your ball thread off to the E-Z Bob when you are using beads to manage the huge number of beads used in some projects. Use it as a shuttle with or without beads.

Sources for this item include Lily Morales the Loopylacer with multiple sizes available, Brenda at the haberdashery.com in Spokane, Washington until her current supply runs out and Rita Cochrane in Canada.

Average price $4.00 for a package of 10.

Dritz Looped Needle Threaders intended for use with surger sewing machines to assist in threading the sewing needle are great as beading needles, threading beads on all your gauges of thread for bead sizes as small as size 15 with a super wide eye. Although they do not have a sharp point, a little wiggle and I also use them to sew my thread ends under stitch caps between the legs of the double stitches. Form the point into the shape of a J and they will work with your bead spinner too!!

They can be found in most fabric stores, JoAnn Fabrics and Pacific Fabrics both carry them online as well as in the store.

Tangle Jr.® - Puzzle This little puzzle breaks up into segments. It's a fun distraction but an even better helper. Use 4 pieces of the puzzle to form a circle of the pieces and you have an instant space holder you can open and close easily. You can let it dangle on the thread or put over your index finger to hold loops open and assist in maintaining tension while you tat. Great for use with the Celtic Knotted Picot and my Double Picot Finding Technique (new upcoming technique)

Available at most toy stores and Walmart

IceBreaker Center Ice Mints - Here we go again with the Mints But the box is just too KOOL to pass up!! The box holding the mints measures 2 1/4" tall, 1 1/2" wide and 1/4" deep. It has a small flip top off the pointed end of the depressed side of the case. Then you can open it from the side to fill the box with anything that doesn't fit through the flip top side.
